As I was helping my friend with her presentation on Moebius syndrome, I went through old photos of me. This will also be good knowledge for Disability Pride Month this month….
This little girl….she’s so, *so* beautiful. Is she smiling? No. But that doesn’t matter. That does not take away from her beauty. It’s beautiful that she can show people other ways to smile.
She smiles through her laugh. She has the cutest, most infectious laugh. You can’t help but laugh when she laughs. It makes your HEART smile.
She smiles through her eyes. We *all* smile through our eyes, really. She not only smiles through her eyes, but she also expresses her emotions a lot through her eyes. Pay attention.
She smiles through her tone of voice. When she’s excited or happy about something, you can tell from her voice. She has the sweetest, most loving, angelic tone to her voice too. When she talks, it feels like you are wrapped in her love. She will use that voice to be such an amazing advocate and educate the world about Moebius.
This little girl is such an important person in this world. She will make the world smile through their hearts. ![]()
