What Makes You Different Makes You Beautiful

I love who I am in this world.

I had that thought recently, and that made my soul smile.

I’ve been on a journey of self-love for a while now, and more and more I am embodying the belief “I love who I am in this world”. I want to walk like that. I want to carry myself knowing that I belong in this world. Head held high. Limb difference showing. Every cell in my body and every fiber of my being knowing and FEELING that I love myself and I am worthy to be here. I am needed in this world.

I recently went with my friend to a local boutique. I saw these signs and was like, these are amazing! They embody who I am in this world *perfectly*:

“What makes you different makes you beautiful.”

“I see your true colors and that’s why I love you. Don’t be afraid to let them show.”

My difference makes me beautiful. I’m here to teach that, both to myself and to the world. I want others with disabilities (and other differences) to know they are beautiful. And needed.

Differences make the world so much more interesting and vibrant. Together we all make such an incredibly beautiful rainbow! But, we need *every* color. *Every* difference to form the rainbow. We are all so very unique, beautiful, and needed. *You* are so very unique, beautiful, and needed.

May you love who you are in this world. 🥰🌈
