I’ve been thinking about how society associates love with having a romantic partner. If you’re single, you can’t possibly be fulfilled in the love department. You must go “find” it outside of yourself.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be anyone’s complete source of love. Love doesn’t need to be attached to a romantic partner.
Love is sharing laughter and deep conversations with your best friend.
Love is rocking out to your favorite music.
Love is in nature. Watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets, listening to the birds chirping, and smelling fresh rain.
Love is between strangers. Small kindnesses, doors being held, smiles exchanged.
Love is everywhere.
And, love is in my heart. I don’t need to “find” love. I AM love.
